For egg moves, even if the process was simplified in a way that you can just merge the egg moves to your already-made Pokemon.
I guess for saving Bottle Caps as well even if they're incredibly easy to grind with raids.

Breeding is still useful, just not as necessary as it once was.

You can exchange items to upgrade your ivs to max and change your nature at will with items given from battle tower rewards. They just give the "effects" of it though so they don't technically change for breeding purposes.

If they wanted to make max IV more accessible to the non-autismo crowd they should have included a good trading system or have pokemon breeder npc's in game you can buy pokemon from for super expensive.

If you get the Gigantamax Meowth from mystery gift, candy it up to level 100 and max its Attack, it can solo the league rematches and you'll get a ridiculous amount of money every time. That's a much faster way to get vitamins than grinding the Battle Tower.

Like how bottle caps raise the stat as though it has a 31 IV, nature mints modified the 10% increase/decrease of two stats as though it has that nature.

The bottle cap thing means hidden power doesn't change (not that it matters right now).
And the nature mint thing means flavour preferences remain the same. Your timid whatever will still like sweet flavors and dislike spicy flavors, even if you give it an adamant mint.

Really the ability to change natures and IVs is just there so that you can make your in-game Pokemon competitively viable if you want to, and so that you don't have to soft-reset hundreds of times/inject if you want something that isn't breedable (like Legendaries).

How do you get the Meowth, is there a code for it? But let's say you have a Mon with both pokerus and a power band and are fighting machops. That's 18 ev's per Machop meaning you will have a fully maxed out attack stat after roughly 15 battles without blowing through all of your money.

You've been able to since I think XY? The bottle caps were ridiculously rare then. They're a bit easier to get now, but there's still no way to set the speed stat to 0 besides finding the mon in the wild like that.

You can't.
Gen VII introduced hyper training, where in exchange for bottle caps, a Pokémon's stats can be increased as though it has 31 IVs.

The IVs are unchanged, so they still pass them on in breeding.

Is it possible to breed higher IV Dittos?

I only got a 4IV (missing HP and Atk) so I guess I can’t aquire these stats unless the other Pokémon has perfect IVs in HP and Atk..?

Ditto can only provide offspring of the same species of its partner, and Ditto cannot breed with Ditto.

It's possible but the odds will be very low.

The preferred method of getting the best IV spread is to give either parent a destiny knot, which guarantees that 5 IVs from both parents are passed down, which means that only one IV is randomised.

So in your case with a 4 IV Ditto, your best outcome would be the 4 IVs from the ditto, and then any other IV from either parent, and a random IV.
In a typical breeding scenario you would keep trying until a fresh 31 IV is generated and you start getting two parents with 4 IVs in different stats, for a 6 IV coverage depending on how they get picked.

I think you can also achieve 6 IV inheritance if the other parent holds a Power EV training item but I'm not sure, it's possible the destiny knot will pick the same stat to pass down.

Yes, all you need is for the Pokémon that you want to learn the egg move, to have space for the new egg moves.

Pokémon with a "brilliant aura" in the wild can also know egg moves and have 2 or 3 perfect IVs. As a matter of fact this info comes from the official Pokémon website and details chaining and shiny chances in surprising depth.
