>>41420757Not him but if you battled/traded someone a few times the game woud ask if you want to add his/her friend code, if both agreed, he/she would actually become your friend (in your 3DS functions and everything), then you could use the "voice chat" function with them, remember that both people are essentially strangers, they never saw each other, but you could still talk to someone just like that (I did a few times).
Despite being amusing, I don't think that's a dealbreaker, it would be a pretty easy detail to remove in a new edition.
