I could do without any shiny effect, honestly. Always hated the sparkling effect. Making them square doesn't help matters. Just make Pokemon with different coloration. That's all I ask.

Many boxes plus many boxes of RNG abused, glitched, and event ones. Over 20% of my main Bank is filled with them.

That said they're mostly copies of the same ones because most Shinies are not better than the normal coloring or are actively just shit.

I've fought 227 Mareanie, am I doing this the right way or wrong way? Should I just be breeding? I managed to max out the Defense EVs on my Gmax Sandaconda in the process so it's not been a total waste of time.

Apparently chaining isn't even relevant anymore. You get 500 kills and supposedly it gives a perma 6x shiny rate for that mon when in the wild. I'm not seeing the effects on wild Impidimp myself and I've killed about 610 of them. The chaining was apparently for the brilliant aura mons (have a few max IVs + egg moves). I've swapped to MMing
