I got him traded from someone in japan, I believe foreign language Pokemon get a 70% XP boost. VS the standard 50% XP boost given to ANY traded pokemon.

if a Pokemon evolves by friendship (like Snom) can I just throw the soothe bell on it and give it loads of exp candy to evolve quicker or does it specifically need to be levelled up from battle to raise friendship?

Day/Night cycle is only unlocked after you beat the game i'm pretty sure.

Before that there are parts of the game that require a certain time of day for the story, so it can be day when it should be night, and vice versa.

From my personal experience, Corviknight is an absolutely insane Pokemon. It's easily the best regional bird since Staraptor for in-game shit, since it not only has good stats, but a great level-up movepool to abuse it with.

Sandaconda is also pretty good, though I should warn you that you're likely going to be stuck with Bulldoze for a while if you don't go out of your way to get EQ.

Grapploct comes pretty late, and while I think it's pretty okay, there's other good fighting types you could use, such as Falinks.

Yeah, yeah, I know. But it's the game's fault that literally every mon I wanted to use (outside of Toxicroak) are a 1-5% encounter rate or a 1-5% encounter rate that's exclusive to a weather THAT REFUSES TO SHOW UP!

This is basically the reason why I'm personally against a large regional dex.
