Not that anon, but yeah, which is just one of the many megas available.
Blaziken is still ubers because who tf knows really, and Mega Fug is an outlier to the next level when you consider he's a mega that can use an actual item. Most of them switch the playstyle of already popular mons, or managed to revive absolute shitters like Beedrill.
Dynamax only makes good mons better since it turns their moves into Z-moves with broken secondary effects for 3 turns, and Chansey-tier HP.

anything with access to a flying type move is extremely dangerous, even worse if they have STAB.

the issue has always been you can just do them whenever you want for virtually no cost

If I had it my way, I'd never have Mega Evolutions and Dyna/Gigamaxing. Removes obvious favoritism and adds the chance to give shitmons proper buffs. If Battling is so stale, add more moves that have unique properties to give more options and strategies, and the new Pokemon added will fill in the remaining gaps.

What kind of mechanics are we talking about? If it's something like abilities or natures, then it's not needed. The stat calculator is fine as it is, and there's nothing else that should be shoved in just to juggle it around even more, and adding anything further than abilities would just overcomplicate things. Personally, IV's should just be maxed out from the get-go no matter what because having them anything other than that is absolutely pointless and is just another dumb step in team building.
