There is a fucking mouse cursor in the ending cut-scene. The amount of effort game-freak put in this game is simply astonishing.

The version of PokeTube it's being watched on is clearly meant to be a desktop one. It starts off as a generic nobody watching it from their computer but as the match begins you find the player character was also watching it on their phone.

please shut the fuck up and learn something about game development. The people at gamefreak are probably extremely overworked and have to prioritise stuff. This was either not caught or was deemed less important than other issues needed to fix before the insane deadlines.

It's the credits screen. Control has been taken away from you as you're expected to chill and enjoy the experience you had playing the game. Naturally your attention will be on the visuals and less on the names scrolling past. How is this not important? This is the function of the credits

It's not /as/ important as things that are literally game-breaking.
Also, the point of the credits is to give credit to the people who worked on the game. Extra visuals are just that, extras. Most games are just namescrolls.

A multitude of reasons why you wouldn't do this.
It's using the game engine, so you don't need the improved visuals you'd get from a prerender that uses fresh, highly-detailed models.
If the PC they used had higher specs than the Switch, the video will run a little smoother than if you let the Switch render it in realtime.
It's one of those things that seems retarded on the outside but it's a pretty normal thing to do when making a game.

Well, I say "crunched" as shorthand for rushed. They may or may not have been working overtime, but the game was clearly extremely rushed and down to the minute.
It's also possible the higher-ups were on their usual schedule and just the employees were crunching.

Instead of just using the file the cutscene was stored in, they played it, screen recorded it, and then fucked it up with their dumb fucking mouse and sent it along.
Completely unecesarry way to do that, it degrades the quality and takes more time than just fucking using the file the cutscene was on.

I know you just wanna shitpost and all, but animators/programmers/etc working on projects like these are certainly not getting around shit lightly. There's always crunch with big shit like this cause there's always assholes higher up like Masuda demanding changes to be made last minute.

Wouldn't be surprised if this whole mouse shit was due to some retarded change in the ending that made them have to rerecord in a hurry and miss the mouse.

I'm thinking this is also why there isn't a day/night cycle till post game. Since all the cutscenes are from recordings rather than in game. Honestly they have longer dev periods if they want to spend half a year on deciding what the grass should look like and what not. They say they want to give devs time to do shit, but then they waste it on stupid shit leaving all the content to get rushed.
