What happens to SWSH when Sinnoh Remakes release?

What happens to SWSH? They have two entirely different Pokdexes. Will they be incompatible with each other? I doubt SWSH will update to include the DP dex.

Will there be another shitstorm in two years?

Then they will proceed to release Longsword and Greatshield that will feature full national dex, but aren't compatible with other games of the gen

GF clearly sees it as a pride issue in regards to bringing an old gimmick like mega evolutions back. What could they even do in the remakes to draw interest? Also goodbye trainer customization
