I don't have the games, but the Battle Stadium Doubles on Showdown (which I assume is the SS equivalent of battlespot) seems balanced enough. The biggest problem I see so far is people using suboptimal team composition because they want to try out the new Pokemon, which is understandable.

VGC season hasn't started yet, so right now the only thing that's going on in VGCucks' lives is taking cheap jabs (ironic or serious) at Smogonfags, until they start playing the game seriously and realize that they are actually right. Happened with Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Salamence.

No but it halves damage. That in conjunction with a type disadvantage or even being type neutral should be enough to stall out their Dynamax; especially something bulky with a berry.

Seems like this is only a problem because they’re being stubborn about who uses it first and not wanting to look like they’re playing “too easy.” Once players start to build teams around Dynamax and it’s expected to be used by both players at some point it won’t be an issue. Seems like y’all are just salty you can win by prediction yet.
