Same, it's been 3 days now of non stop g-max farming and I havent caught a single one. Not even memeing and im playing a good 12 hours a day here. I've been mixing it up from resetting dens trying to find the g-max on my own map, and joining others as a guest. Not a single fucking thing. They always break out instantly or after 1 ball wobble.

Nothing, as long as your going + or - 24 hours your basically resetting the beam, ive farmed up like 100k watts already yet to get my mon to spawn though but its cycling through them, best bit is you only need 1 wishing star.

You can cheat by saving in front of a Gmax den and resetting if they don't get in. Got Centiskorch yesterday doing that. Took three attempts, during two of which Martin's Solrock was actually helpful. Probably because his AI told him Rock Throw was super effective against the Fire/Bug Centiskorch, which if true would explain why he's useless on most anything else. It seems as though his AI says "use Super Effective moves, if no SE moves, use Rock Polish and/or Cosmic Power until sufficiently boosted," with the issue being that the mon keep undoing all his buffs and resetting his AI.

Infinite watts & quick g-max collection for those that dont want to watch a 9 min video
1) get a purple beam on your map at the den you want, you can do this via savescum as we already know
2) once you have a purple beam and if it is NOT the pokemon you wanted, join the fight and search for freinds to help (do this offline so as not to fuck over innocent people)
3) as it is searching for people to join the raid, hit home button, go to your system clock, and change the date forward 1 day (24 hours)
4) go back into the game, click 'quit' to stop searching for players
5) check your purple beam again, repeat as neccesary.

I think I've gotten one Storm Drain Gastrodon in fire raid boss battle, one guy who killed friendlies with EQ, one who did so with Discharge and two guys who derped and cost the raid because they used wrong attack. Overall most of the players seem good.

We're putting them up without a code just to make the raid itself faster but yes as the OP says, rare raids are 100% catch rate for the host. If you see the stamp hop on in.

everyone that joins is honestly wasting their time because their catch rate is like 10% at most but idk I guess it saves them the 10mins of effort of spawning it

You'll need 300 something odd wishing pieces and that's with save scumming a purplebeam

your best bet is to savescum the initial purple beam then do the system clock +1day while friend searching trick until you get what you want

This is in OP but if you want to get a gmax using 1 wishing star....

Q: Infinite watts & quick g-max collection

1) get a pink beam on your map at the den using a wishing piece scumming (see above)

Note: "Natural" beams not from a wishing piece won't work for this trick.

2) To reroll the raid mon, start "searching" for others to join (do this offline so as not to fuck over innocent people)

3) as it is searching, hit home -> settings -> system clock -> change DATE forward 1 day.

Note: Going back in time any number of days does nothing. You must go forward to reroll the raid mon.

4) go back into the game, click 'quit' to stop searching for players

5) check your purple beam again. You'll know it works because you'll get the 2K watts again.

Repeat as necessary.

This is the most obvious form of cheating. Gamefreak wants these to be rare unlike box legendaries which are guaranteed. And you can't soft-reset shinies in five minutes. Gigantimax are supposed to be as rare and prestigious as shiny pokemon.

Thats a lot, I just got g-max coalosal, my clock made it to feb 22nd 2020 though, so like an hour tops, the others ive caught so far have been quicker. Its still only a 5% chance each time you reset I suppose.

Some of them are worse than others. Wobuffet and Solrock are the worst, although Solrock can be useful in the rare occasion you get something weak to Rock Throw.
