Just started playing and the wild area is literally one of the best thing I've experienced in all Pokemon games ever. It is just one good thing or is the entire game that great ?

actually, every route in the game is basically as wide and expansive as the wild area, so there's a lot of exploration

You'll get bored of it within a few hours. The seemingly random assortment of pokemon scattered in an open field they have no business being in, poofing into existance 10 feet away from you in ridiculous groups all wandering around a 12 foot wide patch of grass while it snows one 1 side of the bridge and has an active sanstorm on the other side. Shit is laughable.

It's fine to have fun with them op but by jrpg standards the wild area's are very barren, all they really offer is wild pokemon that plop infront 2 feet infront of you.

The game runs very poorly with the online on as well, and they don't offer any secret area's either that you can interact with at all.

Still pretty shit compared to what it could have been
It's a Switch game by the highest grossing franchise on Earth. Compare it to other Switch games, not to old Game Boy pokemon games.

And btw the Wild Area amounts to 70% of the region's size (although it's not that large) and is nothing more than a glorofied Safari Zone with 300 pokemon poured in it.
It gets boring real quick. There are no dungeons, no side quest, barely any trainer.....just a large empty field in bad graphics where you catch pokemon.
