Can hidden abilities be passed down? I got a male ralts with Trace and i went through about 40 eggs and no others have Trace.

Yes but males can only do it via ditto. Male with HA and female without won't pass.

Super retarded because the mother Ralts must've had Sync.

It's only a 20% chance to pass down a non-HA ability that isn't the mother in a same egg group breed (40% if using Ditto).

Mother is always prioritized.

Also, I should add, it's still a 50/50 if it's not passing the mother's ability, so that means it's actually 10% in that case so that's why it took them so long - it was a 1 in 10 chance to be Trace.
