Choosing my starter.

I’m getting Shield and my kid is getting sword for Christmas and I really can’t decide what starters best. Sobble is my favorite except for how dreadful Intellion looks.

To you pros who is the best pick?

Pick whoever you think is coolest, my man.
But pick out of the final evos. Those are the mons you're gonna be spending the most time with.
Rillaboom, Grookey's final evo, is the least-bad IMO.

Op here my buddy is happy with gorillaboom and he’s cool. Oddly I hate scorbunny like his middle and like his final but hate final. Does any of the three have a game changing special move? I hear the rabbits gets a good flaming soccer ball kick.

If you want a easy game, Scorbunny is probably the best starter for it since it can btfo legendary easily. Grookey's type give more challenges. But really, you can just pick one that you like the most since pokemon games are not that hard.

Scorbunny's special move is just Flare Blitz but with no recoil and 90% accuracy. Other starters' moves have low power than Scorbunny's. Grookey's lower target's speed and Sobble's have increased critical hit ratio.

Intelleon makes Sobble unpickabke

Rillaboom is himself my favourite of the final evos, but his creepy grin in-game and that big retarded drum he carries makes me not want to look at him

Scorbunny was my least favourite and I really don’t like Cinderace, but it’s the most acceptable
