The problem is that there's a metric fuckton of people who just buy Pokemon because it's Pokemon.
I estimate that the games' sales will mimic a lot of hyped shit-games out there, where it sells like hotcakes for a week or two, then slumps after that.
Or it's just going to keep selling forever because childless women in their 30s will buy the shit out of anything cute.
