I'm enjoying it, if for nothing more than seasonal ranked play with rewards
I never really played much competitive in-game pokemon, so I don't know if ranked multiplayer versus is new or not though

Ignore them anon they're still in the denial phase. The board is returning back to normal. Plenty of raid generals and giveaway threads a day. I don't see them spamming their SWSH bricks consoles threads anymore and even twitter posting is back to tolerable levels.

Not even anon, but the activity is barely better than it is when we're between gens, but it's still more active than the end of one. Gen V and VI had near monolithic game generals in comparison.
