The art style is genuinely good but the character design is so fucking trashy, overdesigned and obnoxious i just can't see it for too long
Obviously it's not the artist's fault, they must take direction from others

My favorite character designer. Love the Aether foundation and most of the Galar Leaders. Although Raihans hoodie thing is too complicated, and Milo and Gordies feet are very slim for some reason and I hate it.

I like a lot of these unique designs, their legs just look awkward (Piers and Raihan especially look like they need to see a doctor), and is it just me or are Nessa's legs (and other characters) unnaturally long?

Honestly love the character designs, all of them are great. I loved Lusamine and Wicke, Nessa and Bea are great too.

Where can I find Take's art ? I actually love a lot his "Alien" design, it's more original than usual anime style, it emphasize movements and personalities, it encapsulates well different attitudes. And they aren't that non proportioned in game so I'm fine with it. Raihan is a spaghetti monster and he is still cute and have muscled calves

Characters have that retro Pokemon feel which is nice. Gordie has always reminded me of the cue ball and flame breather characters in Gen 1 and 2
