>>41468089>it would have to be several times more expansive than the Wild Area at least.Yes, and you can easily accomplish that without going BOTW-size. Gaur Plains size would already be a massive improvement.
>A non-issue if it doesn't support your point, you mean. No, it's a non-issue because they've ALREADY cut the dex AND said they weren't bringing it back. Since we know that part isn't changing, we can focus on what is likely to change.
>it doesn't change the fact that Pokémon's gameplay is one thousand times more complex than "Bokoblin takes 20 damage from sword, unless it's blue"First, you're massively simplying BOTW's gameplay, since it has a lot of physics and various ways to interact with the world. That is way more complex than a turn-based RPG. Second, it doesn't matter how complex Pokémon is when you recycle most of it. They're not doing something new, all the code already exists, it's even painfully easy to add new moves (programming-wise, obviously you still need graphics for them).
>Yes, and everyone is bitching about them because they aren't unique or detailed enough. But again, they're suddenly fine if they support your argument. No, you're the one missing the fucking point like all the other shills. The reason people are complaining about everything, is because everything sucks. They said they were cutting the dex to improve on other areas of the game, but they didn't, every other areas is awful. The point is, if some parts were actually massive improvements, then people would more easily accept the shitty parts. That's not even a Pokémon thing, it's just psychology, people accept bad news better when they come alongside good news.
