Just tested, host can leave and the host also becomes a zombie. It also does not wait for zombies to choose moves, if they are D/C'd they choose a random move but there is no wait

So the host actually should put the raid up, and as soon as the battle starts host soft resets, so they can put it up again. Get many more lobbies in parallel this way

It depends? I helped in a raid with a Ditto, it used Transform on the Sirfetch'd but had the hidden ability, while everyone else was Eternatus.
I also remember the Ditto I did solo immediately transformed into my Darmanitan, and that was a fun one.

All attacks pierce through the shields slightly, maybe 90% damage reduction?

So if you could 10x overkill the boss you could OHKO it through shields. It gets significant when you prankster sharply reduce the boss's def / sp def turn one and then hit it with life-orb boosted legendary BST dynamax cannnon or if you can exploit a 4x weakness

The bosses reset _your_ status changes so you can't use belly drum or swords dance to get there

Not that we know of. You should probably do it so your catches don't have a suspicious timestamp.

OP says as long as you don't change your time while mid "searching" for fighters it won't reroll the wishing piece beam

Only works against raid bosses that don't start out with shields (i.e. most of them other than Duraludon Toxapex Coallossal etc.)

Turn 1, both ninjask outspeeds and sets screech. One Zacian does almost no damage but triggers the first set of shields, the other one does a significant chunk of boss HP taking out one set of shields.

At this point the boss will attack, and it's irrelevant if the Ninjasks die. The Zacians will kill the boss turn 2 through shields due to the -4 Def stacks, is the idea.

So I assume if a pokemon in a raid battle uses an ability (like intimidate) then that means if I catch it it will have that ability and not HA? I only ask because gamefreak can't code for shit and I wouldn't put it past them to roll for ability AFTER you catch it, not the same pokemon you fought in the raid battle

The way you say it I'm under the impression I enter the raid with people I invite or whatever and then set the clock forward inside the raid. But wouldn't I just check to see what mon it is without going inside and then change the time to have it cycle to something else? His wording is a bit unclear, you do all this offline, you just start the (local) search for players then you do the clock thing (then go back and exit the den).

Q: Infinite watts & quick g-max collection
1) get a pink beam on your map at the den using a wishing piece scumming (see above)
Note: "Natural" beams not from a wishing piece won't work for this trick.
2) To reroll the raid mon, start "searching" for others to join (do this offline so as not to fuck over innocent people)
3) as it is searching, hit home -> settings -> system clock -> change DATE forward 1 day.
Note: Going back in time any number of days does nothing. You must go forward to reroll the raid mon.
4) go back into the game, click 'quit' to stop searching for players
5) check your purple beam again. You'll know it works because you'll get the 2K watts again.
Repeat as necessary.

I felt that pain before, tried running it down with Zacian using Behemoth Blade spam but 7 out of 8 uses missed and the only time the Clefable got hit was by the shitty NPC's. I only won eventually because it rerolled its attacks to not have minimize, otherwise it fucking uses it every turn.

Honestly the only other pokemon I would suggest is Gard for synchro or Trace to get the nature you want or to find out its ability if you're HA hunting.

Once you've reset a bunch, captured the gmax you want and set the date back to the original one, if you reset on the same den will the pokemon be different going forwards, or will they be the same as the last time round you used those dates?

Yes, they will be different. It's completely random and independent of the date.
I tested it already since I thought I could force it to appear at that date and time every time to re-roll IVs (or for shiny).
