Since there’s no references to other games/regions, we have no idea when these titles take place chronologically. They could be 20 years after SM, in which case Gladion may now be in charge of the Aether Foundation and is mass-producing Type: Null to safeguard against future UB attacks

Wrong. The Pokedex entry for Galar Null says the research notes were stolen and they were re-reated in Galar. It's true we don't know the timeline, but Gladion had no hand in this.

It's implied in the dex entries that the plans for Null were either leaked, or stolen by Rose's company. Gladion would probably still be pissed even if Aether were mass-producing Null themselves
