Kind of a fault of the second half of the game feeling so rushed, Macro Cosmos needed more screentime/relevance and Rose himself needed that plus more insight into his thoughts and motivations. Zacian and Zamazenta themselves also could have used a bit more lore to them, but I can understand why there's not since they were meant to be 'forgotten'.
