He only implied porting Let's Go's models, textures, and animations would be easy. He said they needed a program to convert Gen 7 animations, not to mention Waifu2x-ing all the textures from those. I also don't recall what he said about indexing and stats, but after they figure out how to add new things to the index it shouldn't be impossible unless Game Freak has some serious spaghetti code going on (which would not surprise me).

What's even the point of doing this?
You'd need a hacked switch anyway, so the amount of people able to actually use the mod is tiny, and you wouldn't be able to go online with it (not that you really can with a hacked switch anyway) without someone setting up their own private server, and at that point you might as well just play Showdown.
Is it purely for people who want to play through the game with cut mons? I thought everyone was complaining that it's not long enough and too easy.
It just seems like such a waste of time.
