i won't take your bait and write a huge response explaining why it's absolutely not the case, because I know you understand that it's not. we're all just mindlessly passing time here, so i won't blame you for that either.
it's just sad to lose something that used to matter to you, and to lose it to people who don't care about it at all -- but it's fine, it's just the way it is. you can totally love and engage with pokemon while recognizing that the main series games are no longer made for you, and that's what i'll be doing.
