She's one of the strongest champions who actually has a strat beyond 'me use high level' pokemon.
She has a setup sweeper lead, duel screens, ToT, insane coverage on every pokemon and a mega.

Autists on /vp/ don't like here though because XY were flawed execution; the game.

Meanwhile this is technically the champion that follows her.

Leon at least serves a purpose as in, he’s the greatest trainer, but he also is kind of an asshat so you wanna beat him down. Diamtha was just a non-entity in comparison. I prefer Leon.

Leon's presence in the story is one of the few things that I actually like about his character. A champion is supposed to be hot shit so giving him spotlight made defeating him sweeter.
