lan mode was discovered in sword/shield and any switch hacked or not can connect to custom servers (lan-play)

just run LAN Play Client on your computer and put in the ip/dns settings on your switch and connect to "switch.lan-play.com:11451"
https://www.lan-play.com/install

and enable lan mode by going into options menu and press L + R + Left Stick in game.

So basically free online for everyone.

I've never done a multiplayer raid before, and I've got a 5-star Ditto in front of me and want to share it. How exactly would I go about doing it? Just put in my link code and wait? Also, are the stats set when the spawn is determined? Could I catch the Ditto to see if it's 5IV, then reset and it will still be 5IV? Don't want to waste people's time with a 4IV since I know you can still get those from 5-star raids (ironically my last Ditto was a 5IV from a 4-star raid). Also, my internet is complete and utter shit, so what happens if it cuts out in the middle of a raid? Sorry for all the noob questions, like I said I've never done this before.

AI take over your pokemon command, as long as you dont save after that, you can fire up the save and redo.

Not always. Your pokemon will be fine but the cpu is fucking awful. If you get Eevee Wobbufett, Magikarp, Togepi or Hawlucha be prepared to lose. Especially for turtle because cpu can't understand that a fucking focus sash is useless in a sandstorm

yeah but eternatus is generally better. eternatus can solo the majority (dynamax cannon essentially has 300 base power with its affect and stab, and you can use poison attacks on fairies. some you'll have to re-roll on tho, and honestly you get so few g-max raids that going online is almost necessary.

Okay, seems your right. I tried it with a naturally spawned den and it despawned it after the first try. Got a wishing star and manually spawned a den and it will let me.

Also ran into a bug that if you change your date to Christmas Day, you can't fast travel anywhere and all the dens despawn.

I mean when are you resetting? You need to reset before you toss the star in right as the beam comes up. If you already spawned a red beam and do the date spoofing to change the den spawn, it won't change the rarity

Is it impossible to get a g-max pokemon with egg moves?

Am I stuck between choosing a g-max Machamp or a bullet punch Machamp?

Is it even possible to find a ditto with imposter ability? I've been looking for like 3 hours and it hasn't shown up at the raid den. I assume it would immediately turn into one of our pokemon if it has the ability so what I do is join raid, wait for intro sequence, if it doesn't auto transform I save scum a new ditto and repeat. It never fucking transforms at the start though
