My nephews are completely incapable of thinking for themselves when it comes to video games. They need the game to tell them absolutely everything, and they're frustrated and shut down the second it gets hard.
I was trying to play Mega Man 2 with one and he just was entirely incapable of grasping that you need to memorize the stage overtime and learn from your mistakes. When we play the modern Mario games they both almost always either get carried by me and my sister, or they take the super leaf or whatever. My sister says all their friends are the same way. My little cousins are like that too. They don't playing video games but they can't fucking think anything out for themselves. They google pretty much every little thing.
