Why is the game so boring, /vp/?
I wasnt even that mad about dexit and the 3ds graphics, I just expected the same game as usual. Same old fun.

But this shit is so fucking boring I can't even bother to finish it. Everything seems so linear.

too many cutscenes that last too long. older pokemon games let you explore and cutscenes were very short dialogue dumps. hop stopping you at every route kills replayability

Because Pokemon becomes worse and worse with every gen. GF designs Pokemon games as if they're making them for retards, not even kids. Every battle is trivial, every travel between cities is trivial because of how short routes and dungeons became and every gym battle is stupidly easy, because exp share makes each of your Pokemon roughly as strong as the gym leader's Pokemon instead of being slightly below them. The only thing SwSh has going for it is collecting Pokemon and maybe presentation. Otherwise it falls flat as an JRPG, because there's no sense of adventure when you're never in a pinch.
