Gen 4 Remakes should be a Platinum Remake. Nothing changes it's just 3D and directed by Morimoto. That is all I ask for.

Just play Platinum. Most of the characters already have 3D models thanks to Masters.

What ticks me off is platinum doesn't even need a remake. FRLG and HGSS were the only remakes that made sense because their original games got dated a lot by time. Gen 3 and 4's remakes are totally unnecessary, but we just know the latter will happen.

They should just do an HD rerelease of the game since it is rare and expensive for a physical cartridge.

Instead they're going to butcher my favorite games in the series.

It amazes me that game freak and Nintendo still gets away with releasing two almost identical versions of the same game. And that now the "enhanced" versions have two versions also. Just laughable
