You see, back in June of 2019, there was an announcement that not all Pokémon would be in the "Pokémon Sword" and "Pokémon Shield" versions. This caused fans to be greatly upset. In response to this, some people claimed that the outcry of the fans was fake. They did not understand the concept of caring about Pokémon, and so they would make claims towards fans of specific Pokémon claiming that those fans did not actually like those Pokémon. Instead, it appeared to them that the fans never liked those Pokémon and only said that they did like them because they might not appear in the next Pokémon games. "I didn't see you posting about that shitmon in 2016, so obviously you don't care about it until now!" is a possible example of something somebody would post. OP's post is a mockery of those statements and the people who would post them.
