>>41498181As someone who enjoyed SM/USUM, the cutscene complaint is valid and I think preventing the player of the option to skip them can hurt with replayability if the player did not enjoy the story or the cutscenes. Even the few cutscenes that I had to endure through older games like Crystal were story fluff that I already knew and so I would mash A/B to skip them as fast as possible. Sometimes, someone just wants to run around catching mons and beating up trainers. There are a few good things that SM brought to the table, but the cutscenes are, at best, a mixed bag.
