I want to use a Falinks for all 8 of the gym challenges, however given I'm at the start of the game, I can only face one through someone else's raid.

If anyone wants to be nice, could they set up a Falinks raid so I can try and catch one?
The downside is I'd be really under leveled and could only do things like quick attack to break its shield or paralyze it

You can just mint/capsule/bottle cap

You can pass egg moves to Pokémon without eggs

Why can't I just escape when I have no other players and get stuck with shitty NPCs during a raid?

Breeding is faster, BPs are a pain to accumulate, you really don't want to have to spend even just 50 of them for a mint every time you want to build up a mon for competition. You can't get the HA from a capsule. And having the correct IVs from the start lets you save your candy and caps for hyper training for the mons who can't be bred.

you could just breed an egg move to a Pokémon that is the same kind as your trained one and then put it in the daycare with your Pokémon

You don’t have to get a good IV baby with egg moves all over again

It mostly for HAs, but if the pokemon doesnt gigantimax why wouldn't you take the 30~ mins to get a 5IV version of your pokemon. Save bottlecaps for legendaries

Read around a bit. There are two big exploits that can be abused to make farming raids 100x easier.

everytime you search for players it adds a stamp and some people want those raids (ie cursola/dreepy/etc) but the host has no intention of doing those and is looking for gmaxes
so those players just waste time trying to join
do it offline to not clutter the public lobby
