Pokemon Conquest ended up being way more fun than it should have ever been with such a weird idea. It will also never get a sequel with more fleshed out mechanics and better balance.

Sword and sheild are mediocre for more reasons than just the dex cut. I honestly don't even care about that, it's just adding insult to it all that they made a mediocre game, missed out on one of the staple elements of the series, and then the reasons they gave for doing so were complete lies

If anyone is bored and is a completionist, I strongly recommend Conquest, Upwards of 250 hours in the postgame. Be warned though, it is very repetitive

If we're talking side-games
- Red/Blue Rescue Team
- Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky
- Pinball Ruby & Sapphire
- Stadium 2
- Colosseum
- Gale of Darkness
- Battle Revolution
- Ranger
- Ranger: Shadows of Almia
- Conquest
- Pokken Tournament DX

Those are the ones I'd consider significantly good and on par with their respective generation's mainline counterparts (or superior in some cases).

Conquest is probably my favorite spin-off but i wish the AI was harder
They don't start invading until like june or july and i've already conquered like half of the kingdoms by then
Not to mention they develop their strength really slow, by the time my army gets to 1k they're barely around 700 if they don't get a Gabite boost
