Mega Beedrill is peak mega evolution, it's exactly what the gimmick should have been made for. It turned a historically bad Pokemon into a powerhouse that can take it up with the big boys.

This but unironically. They were just supposed to be a niche for defeating the intentionally strongest type (psychic).

Either way beedrill is a common wasp. Making it busted doesn't make sense in lore.

While I'm not a huge fan of dyna/gmax, I must disagree. I think all the Giga designs so far are fantastic there are a few I dislike such as Duraludon and Copperjah but that far weights the amount of Megas that I think look horrible. The Latis, Aggron, Garchomp, and Swampert just to name a few, all look so much worse than their original designs

I like that every Pokémon can Dynamax whereas Megas were 2/3 of the time given to popular Pokémon that didn’t need them and only 1/3 of the time to Pokémon that could actually use them. Gigantamax also lets them give cool redesigns to shillmons without leaving the shitmons behind. It’s such a shame then that they cut over half the Pokémon so it’s still only a select group that can Dynamax, and the Gigantamax Pokémon are mostly inferior to the Dynamax versions. Also it’s horrendously balanced, they effectively get three fucking Z Moves per battle. And don’t forget that we’ll get another gimmick in a few years and the Max forms will just be fucking dropped, never to be seen again.
