- Wooloo usually evolves into a Wooloover through the use of a moonstone. It will act as a guardian to a herd of Wooloo and will protect them from other wild pokemon or outsider humans if necessary.
- If a Wooloo gets separated from its herd and can't find its way back, it'll wander alone until it's exposed to enough moonlight over time or happens across a moon stone in the wild to evolve, making it a literal "lone wolf."
- Wild lone Wooloovers are prone to a more trickster like personality type, messing with passerby trainers, who might try to catch them, by using intimidation or playing nasty pranks.
- However if a wild Wooloover ever comes across another Wooloo or even a whole herd of them, they become extremely excited seeing more of their kind as well as their natural instinct to protect their fellow Wooloo kicks in.
- This may lead to unintentional big paw hugs. They can't help it after being alone in the wild for so long with no herd.
