in this case though the early leaks exposed tons of flaws the games have that none of the reviewers brought up in their reviews so it was actually a good thing that it happened.

This is why you see columns in magazines, newspapers, and other printed media. On a screen you have a single column, which is centered rather than aligned to the left so that your eyes just have to look straight in front of them, instead of moving all the way to the side.

Shorter lines are better if you need to read thoroughly, which is the case for an article. If you need to scan text quickly, longer lines are better.

The game broke pre-sale records and any drop in sales afterwards is the game's own doing. People aren't going to leaks for their information as to whether or not Sword and Shield is a good purchase when the game is already out and every bit of information is available online within 12 hours of its release.
