I have 103 hours in the game.

It really isn't.
This game does have its positives but its not worth the price and there's nothing to do after you beat the game.

And fuck going online its a complete mess, thanks to Dynamaxing. No Battle Frontier, No GTS. Just barebones.

HGSS wins the most effort put in to try to improve a remake. GSC bog it down though and it still doesn't fix some critical flaws from the base game. It's not a "good" game, but it's respectable.
I haven't finished BW2 cause BW was so horrid I had no motivation to pick it up.

The game is around 30 hours long if you take your time with the story to finish the main-game + relevant post-game stuff. We had a couple of anons here who even caught the entire Pokedex at the 50 hour mark.
It comes down to how your playtime scales to the actual content the game offers. If you spent 40 hours with it and don't like it - that's fair. You've probably saw everything the game has to offer.
If you end up playing far more than the game should take you, it's only fair that one draws the conclusion that you either love to waste your time or liked it to a certain degree.

I've been doing raids with friends and building up competitive teams, it's been very fun and I'm actually having a lot more fun than I have with any other in the series. I never cared about battle frontier or story, just wanted to build a strong slave team and beat the shit out of any Challenger.
