It works in multiple steps. First you get a pink beam by resetting your game when you throw the wishing piece in before it finishes saving, to get the beam you want.

You then proceed to do "invite others", then skip the day forward a day. This rerolls a new Pokemon in the beam. Rinse and repeat until you get the pokemon you want (usually a Gigantamax)

Yes it is. Sword has more common Drednaw and Sandaconda raids, Shield has Corviknight and Centiskorch. Butterfree is common in both.

I unirionically hope so, it's made doing non g-max raids a chore when trying to get people to join. Especially since I'm looking for HA and good IVs for breeding since qll the dittos I've been catching have only had 4 maxed IVs because I'm just unlucky I guess, just leaving the ability to save scum between common and pruple beams is one thing. the date changing is what pushes it over the edge for me

I beat it in like 3 days, and that's including time spent fucking around in the wild area and doing raids. Just accept that the games are stupidly-short and move on.

It's been out for nearly two weeks now and the last half of the game is as follows

>walk a few feet in new route
>new gym town
>walk a few feet in new route
>new gym
>blah blah blah leave the plot for the adults
>walk a few feet in new route
>new gym
>walk a few feet in new route
>suddenly realize that was this game's version of Victory Road
>sudden padding to make the game last an extra hour or two

All it takes to gain max benefits from raids ala 5 stars and the like is to have become the champ. Doesn't even require getting the box legendary from the optional sidequest at the end.

There is scheduled maintenance tomorrow for 3 hours in a little over 10 hours from now. It is unknown what they're doing, if they're patching the game or attempting to make the Y-comm stamps less dogshit.

I finished the game in about 44 hours, that included doing raids and breeding for a few egg moves. I was taking my time and rotating monsters to keep myself from over leveling. Beat Leon with my team ~10 levels lower.

To be fair, the game has most of the padding up front to establish lore and whatnot. As long as you're having fun, it shouldn't matter too much.

It took me 34 hours and about a week to beat the game due to dicking around with raids online with bros and trying to actively capture as many Pokemon as I could
