I've always wondered, since we know that companies will astroturf their own shit on social media sites to help sway the conversation in their favor...does TPCI/Pokemon do this too? I mean, they are rich as fuck and have infinite money and insane, slobbering fanboys who will defend them no matter what anyway, but I wonder how much shilling is actually TPCI-led "social engineering".

I'm inclined to believe it was, now. The lawsuit is only against the people that leaked stuff just before the game's release, it was never going to affect sales that much. But the Ben Affleck leak was many, many months prior to release, and every time a new piece of info came out, it confirmed it as true. THAT generated a lot of talk.

I don't think he was. He revealed the starters evos, a very important info that GF didn't want to reveal.
Plus, he thought the box legendaries were only one mon, and they use either a sword or a shield.

But that's suspicious in and of itself, how did he know of Eternatus, a Pokemon that you only get to even hear of at the very end and not the legend pokemon being two separate dogs? You even fight Eternatus with both of them at the same time.

You have a point, but maybe he played a beta version were you know about Eternatus earlier.
When SM was leaked, the leaker said Lance was going to be in the game too.
But this makes me think that both worked for GF and got fired at some point.
