>>41534664Not him but i played through Colosseum because i wanted the ribbons
I found it really tedious
>More lineal than any pokemon game There are literally no routes or areas to explore, the 2 dungeons they put in the game were disappointing
>Pokemon distribution They needed a place to cram the whole Johto dex and this hurt the game
Also forcing you into Espeon and Umbreon was a shit move too
>Shadow mechanic Replacing party members is annoying, i ended up running through the game with the first batch of pokemon i got my hands into
>Double battles While this is refreshing on paper it was poorly implemented since most pokemon you find have no synergy, though this was more of a consequence of point 2
>'Difficulty' People claim this game is a challenge, the only difficult part i found were the guys that hold the Legendary Beasts
And this was because their teams, unlike yours, work well together + you know, their legendary
Even then the only battle i had to retry was the red-haired dude in the last dungeon thanks to his Electrode, even if it self destructed along with my last pokemon i was the one that took the lost
>No post-gameI guess you could consider Mt. Battle as a sort of post-game but it is supposed to be tackled along the story so it doesn't escalate when you finish the game, if you leave it for last you end up with 50 or so battles against low-level shitmon, plus i seem to recall you can use items in there which strips the whole thing out of whatever difficulty it might otherwise have
Also i found it retarded that the mayor turned out to be the bad guy all along, but if i'm being honest i more or less speedran the game so i skipped most of the dialogue, maybe it made sense and was hinted here or there.
These were my problems with the game, i mean people can enjoy it, but to claim it was a masterpiece (which a lot of them seem to do) it's a bit too much in my opinion
