>>41533909Well according to Dr. Lava the black markings on their faces were supposed to be Horns as the two pokemon were based on Red and Blue Onis. However this was changed because at the time Landorus and Tornadus were also colored Red and Blue which resulted in the two groups looking like each other so changes were made.
As for the uniforms the pokedex makes it very clear that the pair actually do make their on uniforms from natural material found in the wild. Though I always personally thought that it was just a little silly and I'm someone who loves gen V.
But at least they tried to explain where the clothes come from and Gen V does have a "Tailor," Pokemon so I suppose its not that bad.
At the very least its a million times better than Hitmochan's Boxing Gloves or Machoke/Champ's speedo and Belt or Jinx's clothes or the Abra's line obsession with spoons.
