Overall, it is the timeline we need but not the one we deserve. This timeline is the one we deserve: the timeline with SwoShit, GO and Masters. Nostalgia was our sin, this timeline is our punishment.

Can we end this stupid meme. B2W2 added ild pokemon yes but it didn't emphasize them, also it was Iwata's request they did a sequel otherwise we would have gotten "gray" version like usual.

I was actually more about the PWT, but I think putting old mons in the wild was another mistake.

Confidence in the changes would have led to the Gen III remakes being made in the engine and the plot being about adding nuance and understandable depth to Archie and Maxie's views. Kalos would have still happened but with more focus on fleshing out the region and its history.

Nah. It would've be seen as a game with missing features and unanswered questions, exactly like XY. Kyurem would be the Zygarde of its time, with the 'God Stone' and secret moves being buried in the code. We would wonder about Ghetsis's whereabouts after he escaped his arrest. Cynthia hints of a Champion's Tournament in Undella Town would go unrealized with no PWT. Then we would complain about how it didn't offer a Battle Frontier or anything similar post-game content, since it only had the Subway. etc.
