Certain mons are just better for Maxing than others, and using it without that in mind means suboptimally playing.
The main problem with everyone replying to my posts is the whole implication that some people are trying to push off that Maxing will both set you up (>setting weather/terrain or buffing your side's stats) and act as some tool for revenge killing all at once (>maxing means any pokemon has it available), when it's one or the other depending on your usage.
Using the latter, as a tool for being reactive, means only using a part of the Max moves to their fullest, since there's no guarantee that your team will reap the benefits, whereas building it as part of the core means your team will be set to handle something that you're for certain trying to pull off every game. If you added Megas into the mix with this, you'd end up with teams revolving around the most polarizing Max setup/sweeper mon and whatever Mega synergizes best with it.
