First replay of the game I'm gonna do is gonna be a mono-ice run.
I never use ice types, but the immediate access to Snover and vanillite makes me interested in trying it out.

We finally got usable Pokémon, Darmanitan fucks people up and Eiscue is basically Mimikyu but restricted to physical attackers and gets Belly Drum. Also Beartic has been the MVP of my Hail VGC team, constantly taking out Ttar or Excadrill with an Eject Pack Superpower.

I used one in the main team for Shield. You're better off getting an eevee for another ice mon. Unova Syndrome nearly makes it a permanent bench warmer, without extra grinding you won't get Vanilluxe before the 6th/7th gym.
