This. Ice is shit and always will be; it's been 7 generations and they've done nothing to actually fix the type itself. In fact, I'd bet Frosmoth would struggle even if they had given it the same stats as Volcarona, because Ice as a Pokemon typing is just that bad.

Shit man, most dragons run Fire moves specifically to deal with Ice types and because almost all of them have access to them.

That said your Weavile would've probably been 1HKOed by any STAB Dragon or Ghost move as well, Weavile is frail as fuck.
