Why do Pokemon games have to revolve around legendaries nowadays? Not only that, but they fucking hand you the box legendaries on a silver platter as part of the shitty story. There isn't any mystery or surprise anymore, at least not like there was in R&B. Absolutely nothing tells you about the legendary bird trio, or Mewtwo. You just had to happen upon their lairs from exploring. Honestly, when I first encountered Mewtwo as a kid, I felt like I was the only person in the world who knew about it. That kind of feeling doesn't exist in these games anymore, and its a god damn tragedy.
