>>41555154To most of them, I'm sure winning for glory, money or dominance is more fun than actually trying to find challenge in their hobby. They refuse to acknowledge how spoiled they are with their "strategy" of finding the most obvious win button character in the metagame.
They all want to take shortcuts to win a game no matter how tight the rules are. Exploiting weakpoints in the game's rules is human nature in their perspective. It's because to them, fun is about just being superior or having a reason to mock at others' failures (you all know you did that once in your life).
No matter how much they win with access to Excadrill, we know they're spoiled and are not gonna be better people in the long run. Especially when they're the main reason these games continue to get dumbed down by removing most of the overused entrants in future games. So if you're mad about the lack of variety you're trying to find because of the constant changes in balance, you can thank these shortcut-seeking competitive players for all their "winning" to ruin it for you.
