I would give it Solid Rock to mitigate it’s weaknesses instead of Shell Armor, that way it can run an effective weakness policy + rock polish set. All more coverage moves.

Everything else about it is great.

Not really. Torterra would become the new ferrothorn, walling most of SM and SWSH meta. As well as having some offensive viability.

Nothing will replace ferrothorn.
Torterra shouldn't need to curse to become viable.

Double weakness to fire is far worse than double weakness to ice.

grass/rock instead of grass/ground.

It'd mitigate it's flying, ice, and fire weaknesses, and while it would pick up steel and fighting weaknesses, it's worth it not to be quad weak to ice.

Give it Solid Rock and it becomes a legit tanky mon that can run support or offense without relying on stat changes. It wouldn't sweep any meta but it'd be a really reliable mon that can work well as a reliable switch in that would have enough utility or offensive presence to maintain momentum.

Step 1: make him twice as big and four times as heavy.
Step 2. Give him a physical Grass draining move Horn Leech or otherwise
Step 3. Lower his Speed by 5 (56->51) and add 5 to his BST (525->530) and put these points into HP (95->105)
