I honestly think that this may be true considering they are shutting down global link, they are essentially boxing the players in and forcing them to put their Pokémon into Pokémon bank where they will pay extra in order to preserve their Pokémon which may or may not be coded into the next games, on top of that they are going after leakerchad who exposed them for the content they chose to cut and they thought people would buy the games anyways, if the lawyer says that they did “irreparable damage” I believe they are lying about their sales numbers which means the protests had to have hurt them in some way!
