Like, 1/4000 chance to get a shiny? And if you fight like what, 200 of them or w/e, it goes down to a whopping 1/500 chance?
So basically more or less on average you're going to fight and kill 1 Pokemon maybe 700 times or so, to get a shiny version.
Figure a battle takes maybe 45 seconds (I think that is generous given all of the animations and shit). So...this is nearly 9 hours or so, of time that you need to mash buttons on loop nearly mindlessly while needing to actually pay attention enough to make sure you don't miss and kill your Shiny (I couldn't IMAGINE what someone would do if they realized they had done that, or if they had to wait another 500 battles to find one...)
How? Why? Just...huh? It's insane they make it so rare, to the point that it is simply not at all even close to becoming feasibly worth it, to me at least. But, here you guys are so...can anyone explain? 9 hours? For 1 monster? How do you do it? And why? But mostly...HOW? Thank you.
