Golbat was my favorite back when I played Blue for the first time.
Then it gained a fantastic evolution in Gold and Silver.
The first regional dex happened in Ruby & Sapphire and they were included.
Then they were still there in Diamond & Pearl.
And again in the post-game of Black & White, and in the extended Unova dex in Black 2 & White 2. Even Pikachu was not a part of it.
They were back in X & Y.
And again in Sun & Moon.
Every single game in the main series had them. EVERY SINGLE ONE. They were the only line with this distinction. And I was happy to use a Crobat everytime I had the occasion.
But now, not only has their perfect attendance come to a stop, but it came to a stop at the worst time possible, the first generation where you can't even transfer those who aren't in the files.
I miss my bats.
