If you play a Gigantimax Raid (1% spawn rate btw) solo you have a 100% catch rate, even with Beast Balls and Dream Balls

If you take it online, it drops to 15% for everybody. So it's likely NO ONE will catch it.

Well, useless is a big word, but most of them are worse off than their normal counterparts when Dynamaxed. Zard wants to be able to set up Sun, Drednaw is better with Swift Swim. Etc. One or two are better than the normal versions

Eternatus with perfect ivs and modest with dynamax beam can destroy anything even if it's not effective. it's just a matter of npc's being not stupid and just attacking to break shields instead of using cosmic power for the 5th turn.

this is only for the 1/1000 (technically 1/100 if you date cycle rare dens) non-event gmax raids

I've hosted several 1% Gigantimax rates and the catch rate for the host is still around 90-100% (any ball).

It's only a shitty catch rate for the guests.

It's a problem because nobody wants to join other's raids because of this -- instead using the exploits to pop their own raid for better catch rate.

For Solo play (with npcs)
Regular Raids - 100% any ball
Gigantamax Raids (non event, regular occurence) - 100% any ball
Gigantamax Raids (event bolstered, so like dreadnaw, centipede, butterfree currently) - low catch rate
