So it has occurred to me that gmax alcremie has a stupidly low chance to spawn in a den with a huge pool of trash Pokémon. Been at it resetting until rare den for a while now, no luck.

The sad thing is I don't even care about gmax, I just want an alcremie or milcery with at least 4iv to start breeding one just to use in battle tower.

I mean I sat here resetting for rare raids, got one about every 10 to 15 minutes, and most of them were shit raids like 3* togetic I'm doing right now.

To be honest this den is fucking trash in general, it's not like spamming for sittos where you get one every few tries and if it's a rare it's always a ditto. This is like "hey kid you want a 4* impidimp raid?"

Eevee is fine, I've seen her attack before to break shields as well as use Helping Hand on me.
Magikarp is also good for breaking shields, even if it's shit when she's aren't up
Wobuffet is truly useless to the point where in the countless raids he's been on he's literally only ever hit the thing once, he's a complete waste to have there. I've started saving in front of 5 star runs and resetting if he's there and I'm obviously losing because of it

Repeat work if you caught a non g-max. Dusk have the best catch rate you can change the Switch clock to be night time. Net Balls are the best for water and bug. Master Balls also work. The other balls are useless.

Does the time exploit thing still work with grinding for G-Max raids? I never read much into it since I was finishing up the dex. I usually clear any den that up to reset it until something cool pops up.
It isn't that time consuming if you have animations off. I am able to solo MOST default 5 star raids besides a few. Also barring bad luck like getting the clefairy teammate and the Wobbufett teammate at the same time.

If you have turned the time back and saved in front of the beam that has hat you can't lose it until the beam re rolls again or you catch it.

Non-promoted raids (Gmax or otherwise) are 100% catch rate for the host, regardless of whether it's a rare or common raid (red / pink beam.) This is different than what the Op FAQ says and should be changed.

There's something up with the table. Raid Host - 1% Gmax should also be 100%. He even says verbally "Throwing the raid online makes no difference for the host" so that seems more like an editing error. Really there should just be two rows, "host" and "guest".

And I can't get what he means by "Promoted raids" that are not also GMAX? Aren't all of the promoted raids currently GMAX? Regardless it makes sense that it's the "promoted" nature of the raid not the "Gmax" that impacts the catch rate for promoted raids.

So, the only other possibility is the Event raids (Gmaxes), if he's saying that there he feels like the host has a different catch rate when he goes online vs does it locally, fine but his sample size is too small to detect a difference locally and that's probably bullshit IMO

Well he claims in the video he failed to catch a Kingler as the host, so I suppose that's where he made a mistake, he thought Kingler was just like any other non-event Gmax but it actually isn't, you can find it under 5 stars and it's pourcentage isn't 5%.
